Class Descriptions

 

Dance Fit– Dance Fit is a high energy fitness class with high impact moves to top 40 music. (All Levels)

Zumba Gold– This class is geared toward the true beginner. The Latin dances are broken down and low impact. (Beginner)

Lunch Dance Fit– A less sweaty version of the Dance Fit class. Come on out on your lunch hour! (All Levels)

Yoga Lunch– This is a gentle yoga class where everyone is welcome. There will be modifications given for your fitness level. We focus on breathing techniques, yoga posture, and alignment principles.  (Beginning Level)

Basic Yoga– This class will focus on linking the breath with movement. Participants can expect to move through variations of the sun salutations and have postures linked together to increase strength, stamina, and flexibility. This is a more vigorous varied pace than Yoga Lunch. (Advanced Beginner- Intermediate)

Pilates- This energetic class enhances the fundamental understanding of core strength and stabilization as it applies to movement. The exercises selected are based on the principals of Classical Pilates mat work. Everyone is welcome, as different levels will be shown throughout the class. Be prepared to work abdominals, lower back, inner outer thighs, glutes, hips and pelvic floor. A total body no impact workout. (All Levels)

Step/Interval Mix– This class combines fun intense movements performed on and off a step platform. It consists of beginner and intermediate moves on the step with lots of repetitions. Hand weights will also be used. (All Levels)

Piloxing- Get whipped into shape in this action packed class. Both standing Pilates and Boxing techniques are combined for a complete workout. Weighted thumb-lock gloves are recommended but not required. It is a fun, fat- burning cardio workout. (All Levels)

Cardio Kettlebell– A Kettlebell is a cast iron weight that resembles a cannon ball with a handle. This class is continuous motion giving a cardio, core, upper and lower body workout. 30 min (All Levels)

Kettlebell Abs-A 30 minute Class designed to tighten and tone the abdominals using the Kettlebell. (All Levels)

Body Sculpt– This class will sculpt your body using weights and barbells. Each week we focus on different body parts. If you want to get sculpted and lean, then this class is for you. (All Levels)

Toning– This class is for everyone who wants to tone their arms, legs, glutes and abs. We use weights, bands, kettlebells, and medicine balls. (All Levels)

Total Body– A great class for all levels. The whole body is worked, including arms, legs, glutes, and abs. We use weights and steps.

Gentle Yoga– This is a gentle yoga class where everyone is welcome. There will be modifications given for your fitness level.

Beat It Out!– Beat it out is the latest group fitness trend challenging participants of all ages! Drums sticks are provided as we hit the resistance balls to music. This program fosters a healthy balance physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. Come join in on the fun workout.(All Levels)

Tabata-This workout includes a 5 minute warm-up, followed by 20 seconds of high intensity intervals/20 seconds of rest cycles. We complete the 20/10 cycles 8 times for 4 minutes total time spent on each exercise. Abs and stretch are included in the workout. (Intermediate)

Train Insane!– Looking for a high-intensity challenging workout? This class will have your muscles burning from head to toe! It mixes old calisthenics with modern day functional training. Steps and light weights are used. 30 minutes cardio drills, 10 minutes hand weights while moving, 10 minute core work, 10 min abs and stretch. (Intermediate-Advanced)

Stretching– We hold stretches anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes, light heat is used.

Shred It!– Exclusive to Perfect Workout! 4 minutes cardio, 4 minutes weights, 4 minutes abs. This sequence repeats over with motivating music and easy to follow moves. (Advanced Beginner-Intermediate)

Slow Flow Yoga– We take our time and slow our minds down as we move through yoga poses. We will develop strength and balance as well as flexibility. (All Levels)

CardioSculpt– Exclusive to Perfect Workout! This class combines intervals of cardio mixed in with Body Sculpting. The class uses body bars and weighted plates.

The Kitchen Sink– 90 minute class that will leave you sweating!   This class includes a mixture of Piloxing, Interval Training, Strength Training, Tabata, Abs, Legs, Glutes, Kettlebell, Yoga, Pilates, and Zumba. (Advanced Beginner – Advanced)

Barre – A Barre Principle Class that uses low impact moves to target the muscles of your core and lower body (hips, thighs, butt). You will hold on to a ballet barre for balance during the class- and you will feel the burn! Light weights, bands, and small balls are used. (All Levels)

Pumped-Choreographed workout using Barbells and Weighted Plates: Pumps up Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders, Chest, Back, Legs, and Abs.

Yoga Basics-For the beginner, this class focuses on correct alignment and learning basic yoga poses. (Beginner)

Sculptilates– Exclusive to Perfect Workout! This class combines 30 minutes Body Sculpting with bars and 30 minutes Pilates.

Tonilates– Exclusive to Perfect Workout! This class combines 30 minutes Toning and 30 minutes Pilates. (All Levels)

Cardio Warm Flow Yoga– This fun, engaging class teaches fundamentals of Vinyasa Yoga including sun salutations, standing poses, balancing postures, seated and reclining poses, back bends, and core isolation. The class is taught in a very warm setting.
