Class Descriptions

 

Dance Fit- Intermediate Dance Fit is a high energy fitness class with high impact moves to top 40 music. (Min age 15)

Zumba Gold- This class is geared toward the true beginner. The Latin dances are broken down and low impact. (Beginner)

Yoga Lunch- This is a gentle yoga class where everyone is welcome. There will be modifications given for your fitness level. We focus on breathing Techniques, yoga posture, and alignment principles. (Beginning Level)

Level 1-2 Yoga- This class will focus on linking the breath with movement. Participants can expect to move through variations of the sun salutations and have postures linked together to increase strength, stamina, and flexibility. This is a more vigorous varied pace then Yoga Lunch. (Advanced Beginner-Intermediate)

Pilates- This energetic class enhances the fundamental understanding of core strength and stabilization as it applies to movement. The exercises selected are based on the principals of Classical Pilates mat work. Everyone is welcome, as different levels will be shown throughout the class. Be prepared to work abdominals, lower back, inner outer thighs, glutes, hips and pelvic floor. A total body no impact workout. (All Levels)

Step/Interval Mix- This class combines fun intense movements performed on and off a step platform. It consists of beginner and intermediate moves on the step with lots of repetitions. Hand weights will also be used. (All Levels)

Box and Burn- Get whipped into shape in this action packed class. Both kickboxing and boxing techniques are combined for a complete workout. Weighted gloves or hand weights increase the intensity although they are not required. It is a fun, fat- burning cardio workout. (All Levels)

Body Build- This class will sculpt your body using weights and barbells. Each week we focus on legs, glutes, biceps, triceps, shoulders, back, chest, and abs. If you want to get sculpted and lean, then this class is for you. (All Levels)

Toning- This class is for everyone who wants to tone their arms, legs, glutes and abs. We use bars, weights, bands, kettlebells, and medicine balls. (All Levels)

Body Toning- This is a great class for all levels. The whole body is worked, including arms, legs, glutes and abs. (All Levels)

HIIT Cardio Toning- A high intensity interval class for all levels. Modifications are shown.

Tabata- This workout includes a 5 minute warm-up, followed by 20 seconds of high intensity intervals/20 seconds of rest cycles. We complete the 20/10 cycles 8 times for 4 minutes total time spent on each exercise. Abs and stretch are included in the workout. (Intermediate)

Shred It!- Exclusive to Perfect Workout! 4 minutes cardio, 4 min weights, min abs. This sequence repeats over with motivating music and easy to follow moves. (Advanced Beginner-Intermediate)

The Kitchen Sink- 75 minute class that will leave you sweating! This class includes a mixture of Boxing, Interval Training, Strength Training, Tabata, Abs, Legs, Glutes, Kettlebell, Medicine Ball, Yoga, Pilates, and Dance Fit. (Advanced Beginner- Advanced)

Barre- A Barre Principle Class that uses low impact moves to target the muscles of your core and lower body (hips thighs, butt). You will hold on to a ballet barre for balance during the class- and you will feel the burn! Light weights, bands and small balls are used. (All Levels)

Sculptilates- Exclusive to Perfect Workout! This class combines 30 minutes Body Build with bars and 30 minutes Pilates. (All Levels)

Tonilates- Exclusive to Perfect Workout! This class combines 30 minutes Toning and 30 minutes Pilates. (All Levels)

Stretch- Prepare to stretch out your entire body, holding stretches anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

Boot Camp- Early morning Group exercises that incorporates interval and strength training. You will also run the indoor track during this class.

Senior Fitness- Seated low intensity class with chairs. We use light weights, balls and bands.

Hip Hop Step- Step Class that is choreographed to Hip/Hop Music.
